Our Work in Action
Over the last 6 years we have been working with different organisations to bring their ideas to life specifically for interactive screens. For many of these projects we provided and end to end solution, which includes initial consultancy, flow, design, software, hardware, installation and support. Here are some examples of that work...
Luton Airport
Luton Airport Priority Lane launched successfully in early 2009 approached Touch4 after we implemented a queue system in Bristol Airport. The system consists of purchase and pick up ticket at the kiosk as well as back office functionality to help support and report on the system. More functionality is being added monthly to streamline the product and help customer uptake.
Uniliving
Uniliving is a system of which are currently in Universities but can as easily be where any target audience can be. The object of the product was for people to browse categories and then offers and print out a coupon for redemption at the outlet that advertised it. Simple but effective advertising tool.
National Trust
National Trust - remote information kiosks with content that we were given raw by the team at National Trust and we pulled it together into an interactive and interesting learning tool for visitors. A learning based quiz was also added to test the knowledge of people after their visit and help them learn about the area.
Manchester Airport
Manchester Airport had an issue at immigration where they could really only cover a certain number of languages with their staff. We took the their standard 'flow' for searching from a check and translated it into 12 languages so that the person being asked questions could answer by reading the screen and touching the simple answers to inform immigration staff.
Budgens Supermarkets
Touch4 pulled all the data together and created a wine selector for Budgens Supermarkets. We added many different filters to the search to help their customers choose from a huge selection in store - filters such as price range, colour, grape, origin or even the food they wanted it to go with or a bit of each!
Isle of Tiree
Touch4 recently won a new contract to supply various touch screens and a software interface that will be updateable and include postcards for viral marketing and local information updated by the team on Tiree from central admin using Touch4 Software to distribute data and update the content.

Qatar University
Touch4 provided a bespoke wayfinding system for the whole campus with particular thought to the heat in certain seasons. The software could be searched by several criteria and when found it would show them the path from the screen to the exact position by dynamically drawing the path. We also advised the College of North Atlantic (Qatar) on their hardware requirements and suppliers where possible in the Middle East.
Harrogate & Area
Touch4 replaced the through glass touch screens for the TICs (including the award winning Harrogate TIC) to our more modern high brightness product. At the same time we also created a new software interface to their DMS data (now Tiscover) including accommodation, events and attractions.
MUTV
Touch4 created a touch screen system to facilitate increased subscriptions to the MUTV channel in the Old Trafford store.
Ayrshire and Arran
Touch screens to interface to Ayrshire & Arrans DMS information which was originally installed into 8 different locations throughout SW Scotland. This is now in Phase 2 and information will be coming directly from VisitScotland to their accommodation pages. They use a variety of hardware solutions including wall mount, stand alone and through glass systems.
Legal & General
Bucklesbury House is located in the heart of the City's financial district. The location is home to a substantial number of professional and financial occupiers. The purpose of the kiosk and software was to give a an overview of companies in the building and show local
Information for staff of those companies and visitors alike.
Nestle Rowntree
Together with Nestle we developed the original "The Reward Zone". Although Nestle has very strong brand presence, their corporate identity was designed in such a way not to overpower their individual product images. Nestle worked in conjunction with our design team to produce an interface that was loosely formed, flexible and attractive.
Postwatch
Postwatch is the regulatory body for the Post Office. The system in place allows users to access information and register complaints, 24/7 through the windows of their head office.
NHS
Throughout surgeries and hospital foyers, the Merseyside Trust are able to have a generic touch screen to move from place to place with specific questionnaires. The surveys are administered locally which includes results and changing of questions.
Natural England (English Nature)
Castle Eden Dene is the location of English Natures National Nature Reserve. The site boasts over 450 species of plant, many of which date back to pre-medieval times. We installed a through glass touch screen system at the site which offers information about the walking trails and itineraries, local historical and geographical information, as well as a 'Nature Search' which allows visitors to identify insects, animals, plants, birds and even birdsongs (sound) they may have heard during their visit pushed through the eaves above from the touch screen.
Yorkshire Dales
The Yorkshire Dales Joint Promotions Initiative (YDJPI) were keen to develop and promote the facilities available within their area. The touch screen information kiosks were installed at key locations across the dales providing information on Accommodation, Events & Attractions.
Imperial College - London
We were commisioned to provide a 40+inch touch screen for the accommodation services by WSi. The project used a Flash front end with html data for the different point on the map. All information was held locally to the screen so no connectivity was required.

Adidas
We were approached by a conference organisation company to come up with a quick ganme for an employee conference - the faster and more accurately you answered the questions the higher you would come up the score board. The competition was run from a couple of kiosks.
Meteor Mobile - Ireland
This was fairly much our first work on touch screen and what a job it was. Over 50 screens were deployed initially all running through a content management system on their WAN which we also provided. The system allowed Meteor full autonomy not only to set up new products but also but also adding screens and content to the panel pcs they used through all their stores.
Magna Carta
Magna Carta Technology College approached us for a internal large format touch screen, which provided students and night class attendants access to information about the school, arts and community centre, local information, student achievements & awards and the abilities to submit suggestions to the school.

If you have particular requirements you wish to discuss then please get in touch, see our Uses For Touch4 pages to see if there's something we've already thought about!
